An eco-conscious jacket made with recycled nylon and kapok down. The outer shell is recycled nylon with a plant-based resin coating on the reverse for water and wind resistance; the lining is anti-static polyester.

It delivers the warmth of a classic down jacket while staying thin — no puffy silhouette, and no feathers to escape. The hood is lined with a soft brushed fabric, and a drawcord at the waist lets you adjust the silhouette. Hand-washable at home, so care is simple too.

The secret to its lightness is the special nut ``Kapok''

Kapok cotton is a special material that is 1/8th the weight of cotton and does not require the use of animal fur or feathers, nor the need to cut down trees.

Lightweight but provides the same warmth as down

Kapok has a special structure that allows it to absorb moisture and release heat, a function called ``hygroscopic heat generation.'' Its function is comparable to that of down, so it is also called down that grows on trees.

Repels water and is wrinkle resistant. Special coating makes it 20 times more water resistant than an umbrella

The special 4-layer outer fabric is densely woven to prevent rain from seeping in, and has a water pressure resistance 20 times that of an umbrella, so it repels water droplets and maintains its cold protection. It is easy to care for and does not wrinkle easily.

Sustainable “ethical down kapok” made possible with the latest processing technology

Since kapok is a fruit of a tree, there is no need to cut down trees or obtain animal feathers.

However, commercialization has been difficult until now because the fibers are extremely short and difficult to make into thread. We use sheets that have been jointly developed with major companies over many years.
